Often when we talk about awareness and becoming conscious the image appears of a ruminating mind and furrowed brow. In yoga we are looking for the opposite of this, a way to still the mind, if only for a moment, to create a space from which we can see and observe clearly.
We benefit greatly from pressing pause on the tumbling events of everyday life and taking time to check in with ourselves immersed in yoga. We restore and create space to realign our life with our true nature.
